My first gel liner!

I bought a gel liner. My first one to be exact, which, in itself is an exciting thing for me. Not just because its a brand new shiny product to add to my evergrowing makeup collection but because its a gel eyeliner and I have seen, heard and read so much about these pots of glory that I had to buy one myself!

So to start, its by Elizabeth Arden and it was 15 pounds (sorry my pound sign wont come up) but I (who was pretty chuffed about this) got it for 5 pounds in TK Maxx which was such a bargain.

I did buy this gel liner about a week ago but had had my eye on it for two weeks or so when I first saw it in TK Maxx whilst browsing through all the St Tropez products. Unfortunately they didnt have it in black but only in brown. This was the colour name of the eyeliner "Brown" but I didnt mind as I thought it would be nice to try a softer colour first.

This was the box it came in, Sleek packaging and not to big either. It said the name of the colour on the left side of the box.

This is what the actualy gel liner comes in. Again a sleek pot with nothing too fancy on it which I think looks very nice. The pot is clear so you can see the product inside.

This is what the bottom of the pot looks like. I always love looking at these parts of products. Im not quite sure why though. I also love it if the label has a little sign saying peel! where you peel it back and reveal the ingredients, thats the best part!

Finally, this is what the gel liner looks like. In the photograph it looks black but in true form it is a deep, rich brown. Overall I have used this product almost every day for a week and I can say that I really like it. Its consistency is creamy and thick and suprisingly I went in my pool for a quick paddle (as you do) and it actually stayed on my eyes!

I forgot to mention, there was an eyeliner brush with this but it was too thick for my liking so I doubt I will be using it. I would much rather stick with my angled eyeliner brush. I will post a photo of me wearing the eyeliner by its self once I have mastered how to apply it (properly)

Do you have a gel liner? If so who by and what colour?

Two words: John James

Hey everyone!
So if any of you guys are interested in Big Brother and are currently watching BB 11 then you will know who I am talking about. John James! He is a complete hottie and is a housemate in BB. He is from Australia and personally I love Australian accents! They really are cool, I love the way they speak really fast and say "Y'know what I mean" awww, so funny!

Anyway, Myself and my next door neighbour instantly took a liking to him after we realised he wasnt shallow even though he is pretty good looking (Blonde hair, muscly, tanned, nice smile)
We realised he wasnt shallow when he took a dislike to Rachel who was a bit stuck up and gave everyone evil looks as if to say "your just the crap on the bottom of my 5 inch heel" I thought it was quite nice that somebody like John James didnt go for the girl that was stuck up with long scraggly extensions and who wore lots of makeup. Instead he's smitten with Josie, a bristolian girl whos funny, honest and quite pretty!

Soooo, yeah! thats my BB ramble over! I'm sure you guys will agree that John James is pretty hot and even I dont go for that type of person. I normally go for the "Dark (long enough to flick)haired, cute" kinda boys.
Loves,
Louisa xo

Prom!

Hey everyone!
So I guess this is like my first proper blog post as it includes photos and all those other doodaa's and wow it feels pretty... liberating writing this!

So on the 2nd of July it was my prom and boy was that a good night! Now before you start to wonder I didnt get "Smashed" or "Hammered" or "Absoloutley wrecked" or whatever you guys call getting drunk because I did actually want to remember some of my prom and not be the girl that turns up stumbling out of the car and making a fool of herself because she drank too much alcohol beforehand. I did have some Pimms with my friends before the car came (Which by the way, was really cool. It was an old fashioned white limo) but that was the only alcohol I had.

When we got to the prom there were loads of parents waving and smiling which was so sweet! My mum and dad were there which made me really happy knowing that they could see me turn up and be proud of me. As we turned up at the venue there was a proffesional photographer sticking his camera in and taking snaps of us. How cool!

Overall it was a really good night and I had loads and loads of photos taken and danced...ALOT! My friend Milena even won best dressed female which was nice to see her win! Soooo... yeah, thats my first proper blog post done and it was quite fun actually.
Loves,
Louisa xo
