OOTD: Flowery Leggings

Hello my lovelies, sorry for the lack of posting. I've been quite busy looking after my dad as he had a heart operation and I felt the need to look after him and help out my my mum with any jobs that she needed doing.
But dont fear! I have some makeup related posts coming up soon which I havent done in a while. There is a FOTD and a post about a lovely lipstick, and also a post about some skincare products that I bought.

Anyway, onto the outfit. I have never worn these leggings before because I always thought they looked a bit pyjamary? is that even a word? Well I always thought they looked like pyjamas but I decided to wear them today.

Lush Minty Julips Review

Hello my lovely bloggeroos, this is just a little review on Lush's Minty Julips Lip Scrub which I bought about a week ago and can safely say that it works wonders! I bought this when I went to worcester to see The Social Network, See my review on the film here and had read some good things about it so was expecting it to turn out brilliantly... and it did!

Its basically just castor sugar with some jojoba oil, vanilla extract, peppermint oil and stuff to make it taste sort of chocolately too as it is peppermint and chocolate flavour. I really do love this little pot of minty sugar and its worked wonders for the dry skin on my lips and at £4.50 a pop its great!
Im without a doubt going to get the bubblegum flavour of this!
So thats my little review over, ooh and on another note there was a fire in the town where I live, im sure you all read about it from LLYMLRS, it burned down river island, the card factory, and some of anne summers! what a shame!

OOTD: Before college

I know this OOTD is kinda crappy but I wanted to show you guys what I was wearing today because I pulled out a top from one of my drawers that I hadnt worn in a while. The sun was being a bit of a nob and kept getting in the way of the photos so sorry if I look a little....yellow haha!

(In order) Me trying to lift up my cardi to show you my top, Me drinking my hot chocolate in the morning (I only put this one up because you could see my bracelets hehe) and my shadow which i thought was quite cool.

The Social Network & Minty Julips

I had a very good time on Saturday. I went to Worcester by train with my two friends pictured below (Sophie & Shaunie) to watch The Social Network. It was a really good film about how Facebook was made and the story behind it is really interesting. There are some parts in the film which are just really funny and witty and some of the camera footage looks really great on the big screen.
As well as going to the cinema, we went round the Worcester shops and had a browse. I picked myself up a Minty Julips lip scrub from lush which I will be doing a review on soon for sure! But all I can say about it at the moment is that im really loving it!

H&M Weekend Haul

Ola' blogettes! Thought I'd show you all what I bought when I went into town on sunday.
I aimed to not spend my money but as soon as I got into H&M it was like BAM! there goes all my money! So I bought four things but my camera ran out of charge before I could take a photograph of the last item. It was only a plain lilac coloured basic tee so nothing that interesting.

And finally I didnt buy this but I took a photo of my room because I thought it looked quite tidy hehe :)
So thats my small H&M haul done, I feel like I need to do a makeup haul soon, I havent bought makeup in soooo long which is weird for me because normally when I go to town I can easily just blow £30 on food and makeup haha!

Tuesday Summary

Hello again! I have decided to jump on the bandwagon with these "daily summary" thingies but instead of mine being on a sunday or a saturday mine is going to be on a Tuesday like today where I have my starting day of another week at college.

So lets go...
Tuesday Summary (No 1)

So today is tuesday which means im back at college again, luckily for me i have mondays off as well as the weekend so its like an extra long weekend for me woohoo!

Every tuesday we start a new project for the week, this week were doing punk fashion so today we started doing research into vivienne westwood who designed clothes for the sex pistols yadda yadda yadda.

Our tutor for this week is Sunny, hes very cool but a bit naggy if we talk when hes talking but hes designed clothes for Topshop which is so cool! and they even asked him to design a wallpaper to go on in display in the Topshop in London! how cool is that :) He even had photos to show us.

When I got home from college I had dinner: Chicken Pie omnomnom! and then I started on my Punk Fashion moodboard.

So thats it! and whilst im writing this I am currently looking for jobs online because im a skint student who needs more money for things she really needs: clothes, makeup and all that jazz :)

So i hope you liked my tuesday summary, i quite enjoyed doing that

Okay, truth be told, I wasnt actually tagged but I liked this tag so much that I really wanted to do it so lets fire awaaay...

Makeup

Blusher or Bronzer: Blusher, I am yet to find a Bronzer that I really like :/
Lipgloss or Lipstick: At the moment Lipgloss because lipstick shows up the dry skin on my lips. boo
Eyeliner or Mascara: Mascara, it opens up my eyes and makes me look more awake :)
Foundation or Concealer: Foundation, I hardly have any spots or under eye circles, my foundation just gives me a nice healthy glow! woo go MAC F&B
Neutral or Colour eyeshadow: Neutral, I cant get enough of browns, beiges and muddy greens :)
Pressed or Loose eyshadow: Pressed because I always spill my loose eyshadows, im such a clutz!
Brushes or Sponges: Brushes, I never use sponges, i find them annoying to work with

Nails

OPI or China Glaze: OPI :)
Long or Short: I'd have to say I prefer long nails but sadly I always bite mine :/
Acrylic or Natural: Natural all the way!
Brights or Darks: Darks, I love dark browns, dark greens, dark purples and dark reds, I swear im not a goth though :)

Body

Perfume or Body Splash: Perfume, I love Ghost Sweetheart. Its one of my fave scents :)
Lotion or Body Butter: Body butter, exspecially the peach one from The Body Shop!
Body Wash or Soap: Body wash, I really want to try one from lush!
Lush or Other bath company: Lush, even though I have never bought from there, there shops always smell... well lush haha!

Fashion

Jeans or Sweat Pants: Jeans always, I would never go to town in joggers, thats what we call them here in good ole' england :)
Long Sleeve or Short: Well since its like freaking freezing in england right now Im gonna say long sleeve!
Dresses or Skirts: Skirts, I love the bodycon ones from Topshop :)
Stripes or Plaid: Well, im guessing plaid is like checked? so plaid because I love love love tartan shirts!
Flip Flops or Sandals: Sandals, exspecially gladiatiors!
Scarves or Hats: Scarves, I like big puffy floral ones :)
Studs or Dangly Earrings: Studs, I like big ass pearl ones or big pastel coloured heart ones too :)
Necklaces or Bracelets: Bracelets, exspecially ones that are wooden haha!
Heels or Flats: Flats :)
Cowboy Boots or Riding Boots: Well I hate both of them, so I guess... none :)
Jackets or Hoodies: Jackets :)

Hair

Curly Or Straight: i would say I have naturally straight hair but it has kinks and flicks in it, but I'd rather have nice soft waves going through my hair :)
Bun Or Ponytail: Bun, I always put my hair in a messy bun if im having a bad hair day
Bobby pins or Butterfly Clips: Bobby pins :) I love those little guys
Hair spray or Gel: Hairspray, much easier to use
Long or Short: Deffinately Long lovely hair :)
Light or Dark: I have sort of medium toned hair, I would like to go a little lighter, Dark just makes me look pale and ill!
Side Sweep Bangs or Full Bangs: Well in england they are called a fringe, I have a side swept fringe and i love it :)
Up or Down: Down :)

Random

Rain or Shine: Shine, its very nice hehe :)
Summer or Winter: I do love summer, who doesnt, sunny days in the park, ice cream, swimming. But I have to say I love winter because it means Christmas with my family, watching strictly come dancing on the tele and scrummy hot apple crumbles :)
Fall or Spring: Well again in england we call it Autumn, and im gonna say Autumn because you can scrunch your feet on the leaves when they have all fallen down hehe :)
Chocolate or Vanilla: If its for icecream then Vanilla!

Barry M Lip Gloss Wand Review

I thought I'd do my first review on the lovely Barry M Lip Gloss Wands which I love! I bought one in the summer time whilst looking for a coral coloured lipgloss. I noticed that Barry M were having a 3 for 2 deal so I decided to take full advantage of it and buy myself a lipgloss with two other items (Which I will be reviewing soon)

So on to the lipgloss, Barry M have a real winner with this one in my opinion! The lipgloss is really pigmented and has great colour payoff. The consistency is very creamy and soft and it doesnt feel sticky at all! Even with the winter winds in england whislt im i'm walking around college, my hair doesnt get stuck to my lips haha! Which is always a bonus. The one thing I really love about these lipglosses is the smell and taste! I bought the shade "Coral" which tastes and smells like tutti frutti sweets which I love. The packaging is also very sleek and simple which looks really great in my makeup bag haha!

So thats was my first review, I hope it was helpful for you guys and I would advise you to buy this lipgloss, its really great :) I definetely have my eye on a couple more of these lipglosses, Theres a light pink one that calls my name every time I walk past it in the shop haha :)

This or That Saturday: College Hairstyles

I have decided to do a weekly post where I post two pictures of something and then people comment down below saying which one they prefer. So.. for instance it could be that I post two photos of two shirts from the Topshop website and then you would say which one you like the best and why. I thought it would just be a fun way to see what clothes, or hairstyles, or shoes, or makeup items that people prefer :)

So here are my first two photographs


These are two photographs of me before college, On the left I went to bed with my hair in plaits and then took them out in the morning. In the one on the right I washed my hair in the morning and tried to put it up in a messy bun but for some reason to me "it just didnt look right" so in the end I decided to just take it out and do it again, but when I took my hair out I thought it looked quite nice so I sprayed it with hairspray and left it.
