My first gel liner!

I bought a gel liner. My first one to be exact, which, in itself is an exciting thing for me. Not just because its a brand new shiny product to add to my evergrowing makeup collection but because its a gel eyeliner and I have seen, heard and read so much about these pots of glory that I had to buy one myself!

So to start, its by Elizabeth Arden and it was 15 pounds (sorry my pound sign wont come up) but I (who was pretty chuffed about this) got it for 5 pounds in TK Maxx which was such a bargain.

I did buy this gel liner about a week ago but had had my eye on it for two weeks or so when I first saw it in TK Maxx whilst browsing through all the St Tropez products. Unfortunately they didnt have it in black but only in brown. This was the colour name of the eyeliner "Brown" but I didnt mind as I thought it would be nice to try a softer colour first.

This was the box it came in, Sleek packaging and not to big either. It said the name of the colour on the left side of the box.

This is what the actualy gel liner comes in. Again a sleek pot with nothing too fancy on it which I think looks very nice. The pot is clear so you can see the product inside.

This is what the bottom of the pot looks like. I always love looking at these parts of products. Im not quite sure why though. I also love it if the label has a little sign saying peel! where you peel it back and reveal the ingredients, thats the best part!

Finally, this is what the gel liner looks like. In the photograph it looks black but in true form it is a deep, rich brown. Overall I have used this product almost every day for a week and I can say that I really like it. Its consistency is creamy and thick and suprisingly I went in my pool for a quick paddle (as you do) and it actually stayed on my eyes!

I forgot to mention, there was an eyeliner brush with this but it was too thick for my liking so I doubt I will be using it. I would much rather stick with my angled eyeliner brush. I will post a photo of me wearing the eyeliner by its self once I have mastered how to apply it (properly)

Do you have a gel liner? If so who by and what colour?
